In five major league seasons, he compiled a .277\u00a0batting average\u00a0and .356\u00a0on-base percentage. Peters was also a member of the\u00a01977 Arizona State Sun Devils baseball team\u00a0that won the\u00a01977 College World Series\u00a0and the 1979\u00a0Evansville Triplets\u00a0team that won the\u00a0American Association\u00a0championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peters was born in 1955 in\u00a0Lynwood, California.
